Types of Games

Most of our games involve dividing into two teamsand then each team tries to eliminate the other to win.  Each playerreceives 6 hits before the gun shuts off. When the player is "tagged out",he must return to the deadzone.  A switchable red or green team lighton the head sensor blinks to indicate the health of the player, unblinkingwith all six hits remaining to blinking fastest with two hits remaining. With one hit left, the team light turns off allowing the player to be somewhatstealthier in the dark.  The most important rule of play is that thesensors or team lights cannot be covered by any part of our body duringthe games.  The sensors, however, can be hidden behind objects liketrees or building corners.  Players can hide their sensors when firingduring our weekly games, but must be exposed when firing during FortWorden games.  Each team tries to identify the location of theother team and strategically position themselves to move in to eliminatethe other team.  The team that generally wins is the one that workstogether the best to cover each other while attacking.   (Ourgroup has a large supply of 14 channel FRS radios that we occasionallyuse to coordinate our teams).  When one team is eliminated, (eachgame generally lasting about 20 minutes), all players return to the deadzone.  We also play scenario games based on movies like Broken Arrow, The Rock, and Aliens.   Please visit our page of scenario game props.
